GOP Budget Proposal: Massive Tax Cut For Wealthy

s BOEHNER large GOP Budget Proposal: Massive Tax Cut For Wealthy
“House Republican leaders called a press conference Thursday to unveil their “alternative budget.” While it was thin on specifics, it does include one major policy proposal: a huge tax cut for the wealthy.”

I can not believe that they actually fell for the bait laid out by Obama. Any common sense person close enough to hear the sound of President Obama’s voice knew he knew that our economic problem was something that he has had a whole team digging through prior to his taking office. Moreover, whatever the GOP was going to come up with his team had been there or Bush had been there and used it to destroy whatever was left of the economy.

We’re supposed to take them serious? So eager they were to pounce, did not one of them stop and ask themselves why Obama would make direct budget challenges to them not once, not twice, but three times in his press conference? And then the GOP walks right into it without being able to answer the most basic questions. Some of the same questions that they’ve asked of Obama’s team.

What did Obama say to the CNN reporter? “I like to know what I’m talking about before I speak.” And the next day, the GOP response: Boehner stated, “But understand that a budget really is a one-page document. It’s just a bunch of numbers.”

Somebody… Voters, please put them out of their misery.
